I booked the Waldorf Madeline with my girlfriend and planned to propose to her whilst on that trip.
I emailed the hotel to mention this and requested a room on a high floor and asked for any tips/advice on what to do whilst there and suggestions on restaurants etc. Marc, the Butler, could not have been more helpful! He helped make this such a memorable trip, and his attention to detail was fantastic. They upgraded our room, arranged a Horse-drawn carriage ride for me through Paris (which was kept secret from my fiancee), suggested restaurants, and arranged for our room to have rose petals scattered over the room for when we returned, all keeping it completely secret from my fiancee.
Needless to say, she was gobsmacked by the surprises and I have to say the discretion and helpfulness of Marc was faultless. A true gent - thanks again Marc.

The service, rooms, location, cleanliness, and breakfast were all fantastic. Its a lovely little hotel, within walking distance to the main sites and great restuarants (I recommend the Budda Bar for dinner, best frogs legs I have ever had - well the only ones, but they were great!)

We will be going back....plus she said yes!

lobby, elevator, and room are all small.no bar, no restaurant, no pool, no anything! the door of shower can't be closed properly, so every time when someone is taking shower, water is all over the floor. it shouldn't be a 4-star hotel at all! but people are nice and friendly.

My fiancee and I Stayed here for our first time in Paris. We only had one night there so we booked something a little pricey to treat ourselves.

The hotel Madeline was lovely, we had a room closer to the top floor, with a quintessential Parisian window that opened out onto the street. The beds were comfy and clean. The bathroom was a little dated but clean, and had a bath and a shower in one that was welcome after a day of sightseeing.

If you don't have time as we didn't, to go out for dinner then I would definitely recommend their room service menu, it was so yummy!

The area has plenty of cafes, but be warned, the are mostly french speaking only (however with the absolute basics we were able to order our coffee and croissant and the cafe owner was so nice!). Most of the things such as the Arc De Triumph are within walking distance (about 15 min stroll down the Champs Elysee).

The staff at the hotel were very helpful with our bags and storing them when we had to check out but had time until our euro star, and also very helpful in ordering a taxi and offering any directions.

Excellent location and fantastic room (601 is one of the largest rooms in the hotel). Friendly and helpful staff who spoke excellent English - would definitely stay again.
