Hotel in a great location for the Louvre, Notre Dame etc. Breakfast was plentiful most days (and included in our very good rate), free wifi (though connection unreliable and intermittent), bedroom small and shabby, but a comfortable and clean bed and efficient aircon. The bathroom was tiny, the shower even tinier (don't drop the soap - you won't be able to pick it up without getting out of the shower!) and the ceiling and walls over the shower covered in mould, probably due to lack of ventilation (leave the bathroom door open when you take a shower). The hotel is undergoing an external facelift (including stone cleaning resulting in a lot of dust) and all rooms at the front of the hotel are covered in scaffolding and sheeting which makes it impossible to open the windows or to see out, and also makes the room dark.

The location of this hotel was perfect. We walked to so many tourist hot spots and were able to catch tour busses easily within walking distance. It's also in amidst all of the central Paris chic - so people watching, shopping, visiting cafes, etc, is all right at the doorstep.
The hotel, itself, though, is dated with pokey/cramped rooms. After staying there for four nights we were very happy to leave (we had pre-booked - so basically had little option to change hotel once we arrived).

I stayed at the Timhotel Le Louvre in June '11 and was a bit unsure what to expect after reading some reviews here. The hotel was easy to find and is centrally located in Paris. The reception area was small but the peope behind the desk were very helpful and friendly. The room was very, very small (perhaps the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed at) and the bathroom was just as small. It was nice and clean, though. Some traffic noise, but I wasn't disturbed by it. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well. The breakfast was very, very good considering being 'continental'. I wouldn't mind staying there again!

I would recommend this hotel for its location, only 5 mins walk from the Louvre metro. Staff friendly. Room was small but fine for our needs, it was clean, quiet and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was small esp shower but again it didnt bother us. Air con worked fine. Breakfast was adequate for €10 each. Price rate was reasonable for location. Plenty of cafe,restaurants near by. Wyfi was working.
