The property was exquisitely beautiful with lovely service from start to finish. Our room wasn't very large but it was extremely well-appointed with good quality linens and toiletries (fabulous bathroom) with a mini-balcony overlooking the elegantly decorated courtyard. The restaurant was delicious and there were many non-touristy cafes nearby where we enjoyed dining. As is the case in any major city, hotel restaurants tend to be pricey but in my opinion the dinner was well worth it. I'd opt for a local bistro for breakfast. The only flaw with our stay was that I had to call for housekeeping 3x. To the management's credit they sent up a beautifully typed apology note with a glass of champagne---a lovely gesture that was greatly appreciated but for a 5-Star property of this caliber I would expect a more proficient, attentive housekeeping staff. It didn't ruin our lovely stay--but it's an area that could use some attention. Other than that--it was a most *wonderful stay.* If you're looking to experience a true Parisian neighborhood free from the razzle dazzle of more crowded neighborhoods, look no further---this hotel is romantic and elegant. I can't wait to return later this spring.
