The hotel is a grand hotel next to the St Lazarae station. We stayed there for 3 nights. It is an impressive building with an amazing lobby. However once in the small room, things arent so impressive. The bed is quite small and generally uncomfortbale. The shower was not great at all. It couldnt decide whether it wanted to freeze or burn you within 30secs.. the water tempertaire kept on chnaging. Another complaint was the placement of the do not disturb sign swhich is often ignored and door buzzer pressed. This happened several times.

Posiitves are the loaction and relatively close to chmap eylees and musuems. Numerous large shoppoing are nearby if you are into shopping.

It was an ok hotel I guess & i guess i expected more because of the price....

The entrance is awesome!The lobby very luxurious and the receptionist very polite and helpful.
The best part of our staying there was that, they had candies, and rose petals covered our bedroom just hearing on the phone that we were visiting Paris on our occasion of our marriage anniversary!The room was a little dated,but the bathroom very nice.The queen bed was very spacious and the linen quite soft and rich.The staff is very professional and polite,young and good tempered.The breakfast had a good variety,it could be richer.

While there is no one major item wrong with this hotel, a number of small items add up to a really annoying place to stay. 1. A long check-in process with a strange attempt to upsell me to a junior suite for 8 euro, really 80 euro. 2. A one hour wait for my room which turned into 2 hours. 3. Broken lock on the mini bar. 4. Broken shower tap but which I did manage to turn on. 5. No coffee in room. 6. No iron in room. 7. Broken tile. 8. Inconsistent housekeeping. But just to be fair, the lobby is awesome, it is close to the station and plenty of decent places to eat as well as fast food in the area. The doormen are also nice. Someday I'll build a hotel with a plain but serviceable lobby but world class guest rooms and amenities.

We were traveling by plane to Paris from Praha, very early in the morning. So we were tired when arrived to Paris. The hotel was a great deal, it has a nice hall. It was built for the exposition in Paris when the Eiffel tower was revealed back in the 1800's . Near to lafayette, half block of gare sain lazare to connect by metro or rer. Walking in the sorroundings in grandes boulevards is a good deal if you want to be out of the crowded places. Near to H&M, not the one of champs elysees which is pretty crowded. This is like my 6th trip to Paris, and I always enjoy to find nuew corners of this delightful city.
