Very good expirience.
Rooms are very clean and nice looking.
There is a hair dryer, minibar and tv.
TV has only CNN in english, but i didnt come to paris to warch it.
WIFI is slow and awkward couse you need to reconnect every hour... But it's free.
No electricity socket near the bed.
No kettle in room.
Breakfast each day from 06:45 to 10... And weekend untill 11.
Bacon, sausages, eggs, beans and unavoidable bagets and cruasons - very good.
Location is nice too.
Very nice smelling soap.
Toilet and bathroom are separated, not sure if it is good or bad lol.
In lobby there are two computers with intetnet and printers for those who want to check in online on flight.
Very polite and friendly staff.

Overall - i recommend this hotel.

My travelling mate and I differed about this hotel. I liked it very much, thought it was convenient for sightseeing, excellent service, very clean, decent breakfast, just down the road from a good supermarket. He didn't like the area (near a major railway station and with some homeless people on the streets) and next door to a sex shop. The remote on our TV didn't work (the TV did) and the bathroom door didn't close properly. He hasn't had much experience of Paris hotels and, I think, these were minor concerns. My one disappointment was that the free broadband was slow. Fine for emails but not for uploading photos.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel 2 years in a row. The first year (2010) everything seemed fine, regular run of the mill holiday inn. We chose it again in 2011 because we knew the metro from here, the location etc. This stay however was very different. The internet (wireless) will cost you an arm and a leg (60 Euro for 5 days) and it had speed slower than dial up from the 90's. Not what you would expect at that price.
Every time we came back to the hotel after it had been cleaned we were missing things. A coat and a pair of pants that belonged to my 1 year old son. We searched every nook and cranny of the room. As well a pair of prescription eyeglasses of mine.
When we went to check out we were in a huge rush to catch a flight to Germany but spoke to the manager. She would "email us" asap as she would look/ask around. We came back through Paris a week later and decided to stop by. When we came back to ask about the items we were blown off and treated as if we were from another planet. Not exactly what you would expect from a world wide chain hotel.
For the price.... stay else where, do your research. You can find much nicer hotels with all the same amenities plus more for much less!
We will NEVER return to a Holiday Inn again

Stayed here for two nights to celebrate New Year 2012 with our two children-aged 7 and 16 years. The hotel is housed in a very striking period building that you can see when you alight from the Gare de Lyon. We hadn't expected the hotel to be so close to the station, and that proved to be a real bonus for travelling by RER and Metro around Paris and its surrounds. Staff were friendly and helpful, particularly if you tried to speak a little French. The hotel restaurant/bar only serves breakfast, but is lovely to relax in for a quiet drink. No matter, as the hotel is surrounded by a number of cafes and restaurants, plus a lovely delicatessen and boulangerie should you wish to take a snack back to your room. We had a suite on the 7th floor, with lovely views over the surrounding buildings. The bedroom was connected by a short internal corridor to a separate sitting room, complete with sofabed. The bathroom and separate toilet were conveniently accessible from both rooms via the corridor. There were also two external doors to the outside corridor, making the suite suitable for two couples as well as for a family. The decor was modern, bright and clean. All in all, we had a most enjoyable stay, and will return again!
