This is a very well located hotel with two metro stations at 2 minutes walking distance. Friendly staff, good breakfast, excellent lighting in the room, reasonable price for Paris, clean, comfortable bed and free WiFi are the most important positive aspects. It is though an old building and you really feel the age of the hotel reflected in the carpets, the bathroom, the walls...The desk, while it is very functional, it is extremely small, which means that if you need to work with many documents at the same time...then it's going to be impossible. The overall feeling I keep is positive, and I would stay again.

Really enjoyed the breakfast and friendly staff and it was very convenient for visiting the Tour Eiffel and the adjoining tourist attractions and close to the metro and trains. The staff were really friendly at reception and in the breakfast room. As I was on business free WIFI was a big plus!
The rooms were typical Paris style regarding size in that they were compact and clean. The bathrooms was a good size and all was good there. Big problem for me was the lack of a chair and table to work at. There was an outdated built in dressing table with weird side doors and not well positioned as it was almost at chest level when one is seated (I am 5-10). The seating was a backless stool which was low. The hotel was also noisy at the back with air conditioning whines and at the front in the mornings with trains at above street level. Having said all that it was a pleasant place to stay and I might stay again if I could get a table and chair to do a little work.

The hotel is located on a long street with 3 metro stations, so its easy to get around to any location. Walking distance to Eiffel Tower and to the river where the boat trips left from.Staff were very friendly and always trying to help. Breakfast was great, I looked forward to it everyday. Room was quite small but had everything we needed in it. Lovely view from the window of the Eiffel Tower, with the lights twinkling on the hour. The mini bar was locked, so couldnt use it, and we couldnt get the safety deposit box to work either. The hotel room was dated, but excellent value for money in Paris. Very cheap supermarket opposite called Dia where we bought some drinks for in the room and snacks. We went for New Year and loved the celebrations around the Eiffel Tower, I took my own champagne from England and pleased I did because its very expensive to buy anything in Paris.

Within walking distance of the metro and about 10 minutes to walk to the Eiffel Tower. Room was small, but we did asked for a Eiffel Tower view which they accommodated and it was beautiful to watch the twinkling lights at night. They also have queen size beds. Hotel staff was there to help you with a smile, even though our French was minimal. Great farmers market on the street in front of the hotel on Sunday morning. WiFi worked in the room.
