Awful and terrible hotel. We did not have warm water for 2 nights. Shower Did not work, bad electricity. 4star is à joke.

This hotel is awful. The room 211 was tatty- a double sink in the bathrom with only one set of taps- the other sink just had the holes in the surround for the taps and was covered by a tissue box.

The night i was there ( 16th nov 2011) there was no hot water when i arrived at 8pm- it would be fixed in half an hour- When i retuned at 11.30 still no hot water-plus bedroom heater was broken- room was freezing as was the bed as there was no heat in the room- I asked to be moved to another room - with heat- i was told they were full- strange given a colleague had pre paid for his room and had been unable to travel- i stated this and was told- sorry we are full you cannot be moved- so they had resold his room- i asked for a refund for him in teh morning and was told- sorry you have to ask the agent- helpful

At 7.30am the following day- still no hot water. I was offered a room at a hotel at montpanasse? not sure how far away- but useless given i had a meeting at 8.30- so freezing cold shower-

Stay away - i was told they would offer me a refund via the agent- not holding my breath

I have just returned from staying @ the Royal Garden - I am not sure how you would rate this hotel has a 4 star hotel.

On arrival my 2 friends were give rooms on the 6th fl & I was given a upgrade to a 1 bed apartment.

Now these apartments start @ 490.00 euro a night excluding breakfast.

The room had a seperate toilet - living room - kitchen - bathroom - bedroom.

The glass mirrors in the hall & kitchen were damaged - the wooden floor was not finished off - the toilet had tiles missing & wood panels falling off - the bathroom was dirty around the bath & there was several sockets hanging out of the wall.

To be honest I was not expecting any better after seeing the reviews but it was clean & the bedroom which looked like it had just been painted was nice as was the bed & bed linen.

The thing is I have stayed in Paris several times & this is the standard you get but someone please explain how could you pay 490.00euro for this.

There must be hotels in Paris that are of a good standard & don't charge you the earth to stay - please let me know. ( When we go to Paris we need to be by the Arc De T as that is where our work is.

Worst hotel, bathroom filthy, cleaning at random, 2 stars hotel not 4, at huge price... Water pipes were stuffed, i coudn't use the bathtub at all, there was mould in the sink, unacceptable!
