We arrived in Paris at a busy time and struggled to find accommodation anywhere except at Eurodisney. Finally found this on wotif and arrived to find there had been a mistake. We had the room for a night and the hotel staff promised they'd find us something else. They went one better and rearranged so we kept our room-perfect with a balcony! Only small issues were no cups or extra pillows, but with a supermarket across the road and a street market some mornings it was no problem at all. Great value stay.

I spent 2 nights here this past Spring Break with some friends. I had a corner room on the 5th floor, and I was so pleased with my room. It was spacious and clean, and I loved the wrap around window that was in the corner of the room. I also loved that the windows could be opened. It felt so good to have the Parisian breeze flowing through the room. I loved the location of the hotel as well. A metro stop is literally feet away from the hotel, and you can ride it all the way to the major attractions (Eiffel Tower for example.) It was also very quiet - away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. The staff and service were excellent. Every morning in the lobby we were greeted with a "Bon Jour!" and in the evening a cheery "Bon Soir!". I only have two complaints. The hotel has wi-fi, but it can only be used in the lobby. And in the lobby, there are only about five chairs. There was one moment were I had to stand to use my computer. But considering I only used it to send an e-mail or two, it didn't bother me to much. Another thing that I wasn't to satisfied with was the breakfast. It's not that what they had wasn't good, it's just that they don't offer to much. If you're traveling with kids, you might want to run across the street to the monoprix to pick up some breakfast foods, considering that coffee is probably the only thing you'll find at the complimentary breakfast. Oh, and that's another thing. Right across the street is a small shopping center (Monoprix). You can buy all sorts of food, clothes, and souvenirs. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at the Pavillon Bercy Gare de Lyon. I would definitely stay again.

We were very pleased with the location of the hotel as there is a metro station just a few steps away. But unfortunately towards the end of our stay I discovered that 50 pounds went missing from my jeans that were in the wardrobe throughout the whole time we stayed in Paris. Very upsetting experience, there is no point in talking to reception people as they deny straightaway and what's more there is a notice in every single room advising not to leave valuables unsecured. Anyway, this incident didn't spoil our time in Paris as we fell in love with the city. But once again, be careful with what you leave in the room!
PS. Rooms are cosy but tiny and get extremely hot during the day and noisy at night due to location.

The hotel is in the eastern part of town, in the 12th district. This is a green, nice and peaceful area. The hotel is located very close to the Dugommier subway station, on the corner of rue de Charenton.
The service, food and hotel facilities met my expectations so I would recommend this place for tourists and business trips (however, the hotel seems not to be typically business one).
