“Great Hotel”

Stayed at this lovely little hotel for 3 nights in January 2012. It was beautifully clean and well appointed and the staff were always really helpful. There is a good continental buffet breakfast and reasonably priced food and drink available in the bar or by room service. The hotel was superbly situated for seeing the sights of Paris, especially if you like to walk everywhere as we do. There are loads of cafe and restaurants close by. It is 5 minutes walk from the Opera Garnier and about 10 minutes walk from The Louvre.

“A beautiful experience”

November 2011 was my first trip to Paris, France. I met up with a group of ladies' from the sewing world and we were to spend a fabulous week at the Best Western Premier L'Horset Opera Hotel . It was the best experience and and the staff were exceptional . As my French is still at school girl level there were no problems with any question I put to the Front of house staff, from helping to find a shop on a map to booking restaurants or cooking classes to requesting a kettle for the room to have a calming tea before bed.
The room was clean and the bathroom well equipped and the breakfast each morning was wonderful. All the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
The position of the hotel was perfect and walking distance from 3 Metro stations as well as well positioned to safe ATM's at BNP bank across the Rue d'Opera.
I would be very happy to recommend all my family and friends to stay at L'Horset Opera.

“Perfect home base for exploring Paris.”

The rooms are compact, elegant and immaculate with pristine marble bathrooms. There is a comfortable lounge with food and drinks available downstairs that allows for socializing and late night snacks. The staff is kind and amazingly helpful which makes this a terrific place to stay if you are new to Paris...even for those of us not fluent in French. Family run hotel that has great attention to detail and to clients!

Room Tip: Rooms not facing the street are quieter.

“clean, well located, comfortable”

We (a party of 4 adults and one child) stayed at the Horset for a weekend in November. We found the hotel clean, welcoming and comfortable.
Our rooms were too warm on the first night, so we asked to replace duvets with covers. We got the covers, but not the sheets! And nobody would make our beds in the evening. No big deal, still not ideal when you come back tired after a long day out. Still, the maid apologised profusely the next day and, well, it only took 5 minutes and we had a more comfortable night.
The bathroom is a little cramped, and no shower curtain, so... beware of splashing!
Breakfast was very nice, with a choice of croissants, cheese, cold cuts, boiled eggs etc.
The hotel is 5 minutes away from metro Opera and the Open Tour bus stop, and there are a lot of little restaurants nearby. We tried Lebanes Tyr at lunch one day, the Corean opposite for dinner and one of the Thai nearby for dinner, which we enjoyed the least.
On the whole I'd reccomend this place, in particular if you get a good deal, as it's not the cheapest (but this is Paris after all).
