“No frills, value for money.”

We got a good deal for Ibis Tolbiac on booking.com, for 45 euros a night. It was clean & basic, and since we just needed a place to crash at night, it turned out to be good value for money. It's location near the metro station is ideal, and the bakeries / cafes in the vicinity are really good since they are far from the more touristy areas near the main attractions.

Overall, I'd recommended it for a budget stay.

We stayed here because of wedding party of friend. Clean but small rooms with firm, comfortable mattress. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Maid was quite rude to my partner one morning. Good value for price in expensive city.

“Hotel refurb”

Major refurbishment on the 7th floor we were on the 6th and from the time of our arrival 4pm to 5.45pm the drilling and hammering from the room directly above was deafening make any conversation the room impossible. The same happened 8.30 the following morning. We wear not made aware these renovations were being undertaken at the time we made our booking even though we had spoken directly to the hotel. It certainly clouded our judgement of this hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The room was very small and the bathroom even smaller. It was claustrophobic. The location also not very central. However, public transportation is available close by. I will not stay here again.
