We travelled as a group of three in May 2010. We arrived early and they allowed us to check in early, as it had been a long journey from Toronto. Steps from Porte D'Orleans on the metro and a great crepe stand where we would buy a light breakfast. My only beef was no coffee maker, so we went and bought kettle so we didn't have to pay 5 dollars CDN for a tea or coffee. (Room has a small fridge) Room was very clean and bathroom, large and clean. It was hot one night so we opened the windows as there is no A/C. Light sleepers bring ear plugs.
The front desk was very accomodating and friendly. Saed was especially friendly. Not in the heart of the city, but everything is easily accessible by the metro. Go to Versailles and a night cruise on the Seine.
I would highly recommend this hotel, and would stay here again.
