I stumbled on Hotel Galileo through Trip Advisor and have to say I was extremely happy with my stay. At the time I was struggling to get around with a back injury so the location was absolutely sensational. The sightseeing tour bus stop was on the Champs Elysées at the end of the street and the metro station was very close also. The room was very clean and nice and quiet (so much so I slept in one morning)! What sets this hotel apart from many I stayed in during my trip was the staff. They were extremely knowledgable and were able to answer pretty much any question I asked - or knew who to ask for the answer, they booked tickets to the shows I wanted to see and also helped me out where possible knowing I had an injury to work with. Hotel Galileo staff were all round some of the best staff I have experienced in all my travels. Great job and I look forward to seeing you again in 2012 or 2013 - whenever I make the trip from Australia again!

Excellent position and price/quality ratio. Breakfast not reccomended (too expensive).

fantastic location, extremely friendly and helpful staff, warm atmosphere, clean rooms, extra large beds, in the middle of chams elysees yet quiet, complimentary coffee in rooms even if you're waiting in the lobby, free-of-charge wifi... and it's the best price and value for money you'll get in one of the most expensive districts in europe. we strongly recommend!

btw, this is the only hotel (including the high-end ones) we found which had no bad reviews whatsoever. now we know why :)

Hotel Galileo is a small hotel located close to the Champs Elysées. We were very pleased with our one night stay. The price/quality ratio is very good for Paris standards. Our room was located at the side of the street, but there was no bothering noise. The room was clean, not too small and there was a nice bathroom. We would certainly go back there.
