I stayed at the IBIS Paris Montmartre over the Christmas 2011 holiday. I arrived at Roissy/CDG after an international flight and took the RER train B3 to the Gare du Nord station and then took the subway (Line 2, destination Porte Dauphine) to the Place de Clichy station and simply walked a block to the hotel. The hotel is located in a good area near the Moulin Rouge (200 Euros for dinner and a show) nightclub, the Cimetiere de Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur.
The room itself, as mentioned by many others, was very small with a small bed and small bathroom. The hotel was very large (9 floors with 42 rooms per floor), clean but basic. The rooms were very quiet as they had concrete floors and walls so I never heard any between room noise and since I faced the cemetery and there with only a small window there was never any exterior or street noise. The room had a hard bed and hard pillows, a desk with chair, small closet with few hangers, shower with a very deep tub, a combination hair, face and body gel, flat panel television with only the BBC World Report in English and black-out curtains that really kept out the early morning sun.
In the lobby there were 2 free Internet PC's to check e-mails and print out boarding passes. An all-you-can eat breakfast was available but wasn't included in my room so I can't comment on the quality. The staff were all very professional and easily answered my tourist-related questions in English.
This hotel is what you'd expect from IBIS, that is, very small and clean but basic rooms in a good location for seeing the sights. I really had no complaints other than the hardness of the bed and would return and have recommend this hotel to others.
Room Tip: Request a higher floor room facing the Cimetiere de Montmartre because of the traffic noise.
