When I was booking a room at this hotel, I didn't check the location properly. I thought I'd be staying near Place d'Italie but I was 3-4 metro stations away. The hotel is near metro station Porte d'ivry.

It is in a nice and quiet area, far from the noise and crowds of Paris.

The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was nice. The receptionists were all very friendly and helpful.

All in all, I did enjoy my stay.

Cannot believe how negative some of the reviews have been. We have been thoroughly impressed. Whilst the hotel is not in the centre, it is easy to get to & about 20 mins from the centre by Metro (Porte D'Ivry) or good Trams. If you like Chinese food the hotel is located adjacent to China Town!
The rooms are fine, clean, comfy beds and quiet with window closed. The Breakfast was superb, with plenty of choice and very good value.
We found all the staff pleasant and Reception very helpful.
A great find for those on a budget

Where do we start!! The staff in this hotel particularly those working at reception need a crash course on manners and courtesy in dealing with the public. We found them to be extremely rude, obnoxious and unhelpful - the very worst we encountered on our month long trip of the United States - and we stayed in a lot of hotels.The staff generally were lazy with the exception of the cleaning stafff who were very hardworking nice ladies. Location is ok if you r in a tour but an expensive taxi journey to the centre of town if you do not.Overall based on our experience we could not recommend this hotel - there are far better deals to be found in beautiful Paris.

It is not easy to get a three star or four star hotel in Paris with good air conditioning and quiet surroundings and a good breakfast but this has it all.
For wimps it may be a problem because it is near the end of a metro line but when you are used to the Metro it is very simple.Good food shopping in the area and a chinatown.
