I have just ended a stay in the Rochester Hotel Champs-Elysees it was very pleasant stay. This hotel hotel is ideally located in the axis of the Champs Elysees. The staff is very helpful and compétant. I was warmly received at the reception. The Rooms are in e very modern style and spacious, and recently refurbished. The hotel propose a very pleasant and very comfortable SPA particularly after working day. This SPA services are included in the room price. It's really to be noted. The morning breakfasts are copious. The staff is really compétant and so nice. I go to Paris for business twice per month and this hotel is really one of my favorite adress to sleep when I go to this district.

“Brilliant location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

We have just got back from a 3 night bed and breakfast stay.

The location in regard to the Champs Elysees, Louvre and Eiffel Tower is really good, all in walking distance (in the summer months you would certainly get the most of the location.. it was very cold in February!!!).

The hotel was really nice, clean and tidy. Staff were polite and helpful.

Our first night was spent on a fourth floor room overlooking the road to the front. The room was really hot and the road quite noisey (it didn't get much quieter even in the middle of the night). We went to the reception in the morning and they arranged for us to be moved straightaway to a room overlooking the courtyard on the 6th floor - it was bliss, really quiet! The staff were very helpful and obliging.

The breakfast was good, but if it is not included in your rate, not the most economical.

would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: From our experience a room on the front overlooking the road is best avoided, but couldn't fault...

“Warm welcome at the Rochester in freezing Paris”

We were warmly received and taken immediately to our room which was large and well furnished. It had been recently refurbished in a very pleasant modern style. Despite the weather we took the very short walk to the Champs Elysees and then came back to enjoy a hot shower and the warmth of our room. Breakfast next morning offered a really wide choice and we were able to ask for expresso coffee to wake us up for the day and warm croissants. Each request was fulfilled promptly with a smile and whenever we were in contact with the Staff we received the same courteous attention. The hotel is extremely well situated for Metro and bus services and we hope to visit again in warmer weather so that we can enjoy the city more.

Room Tip: Our room ( 202) overlooked a quiet inner courtyard and we would certainly request it on a future vis...

“Second Good Stay at this hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

This hotel is well located close to public transport and the Champs Elysees, so good too for the main tourist / site seeing opportunities. The hotel is pleasantly decorated in a vaguely French / Parisian style. The rooms I have stayed in have been quite large by Paris standards and well equipped, very clean and warm with thick curtains and fabric clad walls. The staff can be friendly and helpful, equally they can be cold and unwelcoming and superior - so a bit French, really, in my experience! The breakfast is good but expensive at 25 euros - good breakfasts in local cafes can be had for less than 10 euros.
Overall I'd say that this hotel is better than average, not quite as good as very good.
