This hotel is located on a quieter side of Paris and is some distance away from the heart of the city. It is nevertheless very accessible because of the intricately efficient Paris Metro. The Nation station is just about 10 minutes of walk away on a quiet street with a few people passing by. There's a restaurant in every corner and there's also a small convenience store nearby in the direction of the Metro so the location isn't that bad at all.
The hotel is very small but well-kept so it looks warm and inviting. The small breakfast hall is right next to the lobby. There's also a small courtyard in the center. We got room number 1 which was very convenient for us since it was the first room after passing by the courtyard. There's a small lift that services the upper levels. When we got inside our room, it was small like we expected (like everything else in the hotel given that we were in Paris). There wasn't enough space to go around that it's barely comfortable for 2 people. The room had two single beds which were situated right next to each other because of the lack of space. They were, however, soft and nice and comfy. The small bathroom was spotless and had a bathtub.
The hotel also offers free wifi which is a plus. The breakfast buffet was OK but the small breakfast room could get too crowded that sometimes, we even had to wait for our turn outside at the lobby because the room couldn't accommodate all the guests staying at the hotel. The staff was very helpful and nice and always attended to our needs.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Though everything in the hotel is small, it's nothing that one wouldn't expect since Paris is a densely populated city.
