The good:
-location very good
-the views over the boulevard are pretty nice.
-there was a kitchen and fridge in the room - we didnt use the kitchen but did use the fridge.
The bad:
-Our bathroom was disgusting and smelled of mold, INTENSELY.
-Our bed was mis-shapened and was lower in the middle, causing us to roll into each other all night.
-The room was kind of small, and decor was not impressive at all. I usually dont care about such things but felt it worth mentioning in this case
-the only elevator in the building was broken on our last day, we had to walk down 5 flights to check out. I can only imagine how terrible it was for the rest of the folks who were staying you would have to walk UP 5 flights to get home.
-no wifi in the room, only the lobby, although it doesnt work well, i couldnt check my email with it for some reason.
-My biggest complaint : I dont like cleaning staff in my room. I left the do not disturb sign out, and they cleaned my room anyway. Next day i had the sign out and was still in the room, cleaning lady knocked on the door for cleaning. Amazing stupidity... so i opened the door (she only spoke french and i dont speak it). I picked up the sign that says do not disturb which was on the door, and pointed at it and stuck in in her face and said "NO NO NO". Next day i put the sign out and tied a knot around the doorknob with the string on the sign so it would be impossible to miss or move. Nevertheless, again, lady removes the sign from my doorknob and cleans the room. Outstanding !!! By the way the sign read "do not disturb" in multiple languages, including english and french.
I felt frustrated and violated.
In the end, im surprised they are charging what they are, they should charge half that.
