My family and I rented two rooms here for five nights, and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The front office staff was very polite and helpful, and they were a pleasure to chat with. The (included in the price) breakfast was more than adequate, although the breakfast room was a bit crowded and hot (if everyone were there at the same time). Loved the coffee machine though! I was able to be fully caffeinated before starting my day.
Our two rooms were quite different in decor and lighting. The full size bed for two was very well lit, with a decent sized bathroom. Our room which slept three was a bit darker, and would have loved a bit more light over the head of the bed to read, but only a minor issue. Could have used another open plug or two, but all-in-all a very nice room. Wine in the room was reasonably priced as well. Rooms were quite clean and tasteful.
Location is certainly within walking distance to the main sights, but is a bit of a walk (which I like to do). When we didn't want to walk, the metro was only a block away (around the corner), so was quite convenient, although unless you had a refillable pass, you will need to purchase at a different station. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby, with a large shopping mall only a block or two away.
Overall, was quite happy with our stay at Aviatic, and would definitely entertain staying here on my next trip to Paris.
Room Tip: I'd ask for one of the more brightly lit rooms next time if you want to read in bed.
