Mythical hotel,with original art deco character,a classic bar and a cigar lounge for smokers!It is THE Left Bank meeting point for Parisians and a cultural center, thanks to both,its history and its lounge jazz performances! Excellent Brasserie as well,helpful staff and AAA location.Some rooms certainly need improvement,but Iam sure that the management is already taking care of this.Thank you Lutetia for a great stay and I shall be back again very soon !

Fabulous stay over new year, wonderful staff, great location, can't fault it, worth every penny, the best room we could have hoped for - a corner suite , balcony with eiffel view.
This was a Chrismas present from my american wife who booked through our local travel agent and managed to get a great deal. We were pampered from the minute we arrived, concierge bent over backwards to accomadate our every whim, even arranged the best table in the house at the 'lido' at short notice. I would highly recommend this hotel to any one wanting something special in Paris.

We stayed in this elegant (if a bit aged) hotel for a week during our Paris trip. The staff at the front desk as well as The Brasserie were excellent and extremely accommodating. Our room was not ready upon arrival and after waiting for a bit we were offered a very comfortable room to use while we awaited our room to be prepared. When we were escorted to to th room by the front desk staff (thank you again Marina)! We were delighted to see that we were upgraded to a beautiful room with an outstanding view from our private balcony! The rooms are immaculate if a bit aged but the Concorde Hotel people who recently acquired ownership are renovating the entire hotel and what they have done is beautiful. The food is delicious in the restaurant, the staff helpful and the location of the hotel in the St. Germaine area is ideal to use as a base for your daily excursions in discovering the treasures of The City of Lights !

Like other reviewers, we found that the art deco charm of the public areas of the Hotel Lutetia make it a special hotel. However, the rooms are of such variable quality that we feel we must warn other travellers. We were given a room which was of such poor quality - including a loose and dangerous plug fitting, peeling paper, no bedside lights, 3 missing bulbs in the bathroom - that we felt we were in 1 star hotel (but at 260e night it was very much a 4 star price). I think they are undergoing a gradual refurbishment - so if you want to enjoy this hotel please make sure you ask for a refurbished room and avoid the 3rd floor if you can!
