Not too bad, simple like the others hostels! Quite clean room, medium clean bathroom. Somethimes noisy nights, big breakfast as in every hostel i've visited. Good position, the area is uptown so u can come back in safety at night. kind receptionists

This place claims its near the center of Paris, but it most definitely is not. Its not hard to get around Paris though thanks to the metro system and there is a metro station very close to the youth hostel. Besides this, the entire place is pretty dingy and dirty. The staff isn't extremely helpful, but thankfully one girl was nice and spoke english. The breakfast isn't that great and the rooms are AWFUL. My bed literally had the type of blankets and pillows they give to you on airplanes. The towels that they give you, excuse me, make you pay for, are made of that same weird material. Everything is dark and gross, and the bathrooms are awful. Don't go here if you can find somewhere else!

Things I liked:
Helpful staff, only 3-beds to a room (in my case), free wifi, and a fun downstairs bar playing good music.
I didn't like:
Very noisy all night long (on a tuesday!) breakfast not available before 7 (if you're trying to catch a 10am flight at Charles de Gaulle you're SOL for breakfast - even the coffee machine in the hall wasn't on. There is NO community kitchen, only a restaurant. Instead of proper sheets, they give you this gauzy papery stuff, like the kind of material a hospital gown is made of. The wifi didn't work very well, and there are few outlets. I do like the baggage lockers (although don't let them shut before you're done loading your stuff into them!) and the ambiance was more festive than many French hostels I've been in, so maybe it's better for party people. I just wanted to sleep.

Really good, but you have to pay to use the wi-fi. The breakfast is really good.
