A friend and I recently stayed at the Hotel du Jeu de Paume in Paris. I'm a frequent visitor to Paris and this is now my favorite hotel in Paris. The hotel is beautiful and the location is amazing. It is convenient to most major Paris sights and there are delicious restaurants and bakeries within walking distance. I highly recommend the Hotel du Jeu de Paume.

This is a small, beatifully decorated and charming boutique, well-located in a quiet place in the very heart of Paris. Nothing to compare with the standards hotels like novotel, lafayette...where the feeling of silent and relaxation are very complicated.
Only two negative comments: - if you turn off the air- heating there is a disturbing sound that I think comes from the tubes and the quality of breakfast that is medium.

A most relaxing place to stay in Paris - and very quiet for such a central location. It is in a beautiful area with interesting shops and restaurants nearby, as well as being handy for many of the city's sights. The room was well-furnished and comfortable, although a little on the small side. The bathroom was attractively furnished - including a bathtub - and toiletries were of high quality. The staff were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was of good quality, although it was a bit limited for the €14 price.

I agree with all the positive reviews of this hotel - it's quiet and charming and walking distance from some of the major sights of Paris (Notre Dame, Left Bank, Bastille). Front desk staff are friendly, helpful and ready to recommend local restaurants and museums. Our room was smart and modern and I liked the Annick Goutal freebies. I think the hotel's 18 Euro charge for breakfast is overpriced but there are plenty of local cafes within a couple of minutes' walk for coffee and a croissant. Free (and fast) wifi. Would definitely stay here again.
