“Convenient location and a good value”

We stayed here for two nights in October 2011. The hotel location is convenient - near the Ecole Militaire metro stop and less than a 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower (5 minutes to the end of the park for a view of the Eiffel tower). The rooms were small, simple, clean and a good value for Paris. We didn't pay for breakfast but walked around the corner to the boulangerie each morning for pastries. The staff were helpful when we asked questions.

“Great location for short stay in Paris.”

This hotel is perfectly situated for a short visit to Paris when you are trying to pack as much sightseeing in as possible. It is just a 15 minute walk to the Eiffle Tower and the launch site for the Seine river boat cruises. The hotel is right around the corner from the Ecole Militaire metro station, which can get you anywhere in the city in no time at all. The Rue Cler neighborhood (check Rick Steve's Paris guidebook) is also just around the corner from the hotel. The hotel itself was adequate. The room (double w/bath) was small- as is usual for Paris hotels-, but comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the plumbing worked well. We had a street facing room, but it was quiet since it had double-pane windows. The hotel had no community computer, but they let me use the office computer to check my e-mails. I can not comment on the breakfast, as I did not purchase it. The Rue Cler has lots of options for meals.
Overall this hotel was worth the price(90 euro/ night).

“Nice hotel to stay, great location”

We stayed 3 nights dring our backpacking trip to Paris. Great location just off Ecole Militaire metro stop. We arrived early so we left our luggage at the front desk and went sightseeing and came back in the evening. We walked to Rue Cler and got our breakfast there. Lots of bakeries to choose from. There is also a Carre Four supermarket nearby. Walking distance to Eiffel Tower, about 10 mins. Room is a bit small but price was reasonable. Neighborhood is relatively quiet. Front desk staff was very nice. Recommend this place.

“Warm and Friendly”

Our stay at this hotel was made evn better by Humberto to the rest of the front desk staff; they were always very friendly and eager to help in every way. Great rates, for Paris, and a great location: evry major historical sight and museum is within easy reach by foot or metro. The neighborhood is relatively quiet and there are plenty of cafes and resaturants for any taste nearby. The staff speaks English, Spanish, or Portuguese fluently, so you won't have a ploblem communicating with someone. I highly recommend this hotel !

“Wonderful location!”

Our family of four stayed overnight during our backpacking trip thru Europe. We arrived late and the desk clerk was very pleasant even tho he did not understand English. Our rooms were clean and not as small as I expected from the other reviewers. The Tower is so close by, we went there after we dropped off our packs and were pleasantly surprised that is wasn't crowded and we enjoyed the light show it puts on every hour!
They desk kept our luggage the next day while we toured around the city until 7pm! They were very nice and helpful. I would recommend having breakfast a few streets over in Rue De Clur...so charming, it's an open market with fabulous little outdoor eating places. Amazing food while you can people watch the locals :)
I would not hesitate to stay here again...simple and worth the price.
