Internet only works in the lobby, not in the room. My room did not have a shower, only a tub and no shower curtain. I changed rooms for a different reason and only one of my issues were addressed in the new room. At checkout I payed over $1000 US dollars for my stay and they gave me a $30 discount for my inconvience... I was disappointed. They were not concerned about a bad review either. They said, "We stay busy, say what you like"... so I am... you should look elsewhere.

The room were small, but clean. The room was what we had reserved. The staff was helpful, they made phone calls for us, confirmed reservations, and helped in many other ways. The location is very good, close to the Eiffel Tower, the Army Museum and only a block from the Metro, a bank with a ATM machine is across the street. And if you need to do laundry there is a laundermate nearby also.

For 105 euro a night for a standard double, I thought the rooms were not maintained very well. Stained carpets and bedspreads were in both rooms we stayed in. We changed rooms because the tv didn't work, and it didn't work in the new room either. Rooms were clean but old. The first room, we could not look from the inside. The keycard lock was broken and the cover missing. When i brought it to the attention of the staff, i got no assistance. Totally blown off, not by one but two hotel desk persons. The location is terrific, but the neighborhood has many other hotels. I would look elsewhere if I were to stay again.

We have stayed at this hotel at least four times over the years. I love that it is in a neighborhood, it's safe, it's near a Metro and the staff are great Our first stay here my husband had his wallet stolen, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The clerk called the Visa company and had his card cancelled, and took care of all that. We just had to go make a police report, which is another story entirely. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. It's not fancy, but it's clean and near lots of great things.
