We stayed six nights last week at this hotel in room 38 and one night on return in room 48, both twin bedded, with ample room around the beds, a smALL clothes closet, updated bathroom with shower (you need to stand facing the the wall to avoid spraying water on the floor as there is no glass shield), tv, small desk with lamp, and firm beds--ask for a second pillow as the pillows are dead.. Rooms are fairly well lit. The hotel is quiet-we did not experience any noise. Hotel personnel were all very helpful with directions and suggestions. We stored some luggage after our 6 nite stay. Free internet in the lobby and free wi-fi, total 24 hrs, in the room. Rooms are very clean, hotel is well manged, and there is a breakfeast for 9.8 euros which we skipped in favor of a c roissant and coffee and or yogurt elsewhere or on our own.
There is a supermarket on R MOuffetard about 300 feet distant & , several nearby pastry shops,
Metro Censier Daubento is 2 bloks away and bus 27 which goes to the louvre, chatelet/marais, place st michel is on the corner-also goes to gare st lazare for giverny and bayeux and to opera for the roissy bus connection to cdg.
Nearby Cave Au Bourgogne restaurant has well prepared plats-try the salad complet, a meal in itself, and on R Mouff there is an excellent crepe place-the one with the line. Otherwise avoid the touris mentu restaurants along the st which are basically the same and so so.
Try Le Robe and Le Palais in the Marais for a nice lunch with wine-42 E for 2/ or D and Cafe Musee, recommended by Michelin, near the Picasso musuem-rez helpful.
And if you are a musuem goer get the mus pass at the airport and vavoid the olines elsewhere. Contrary to the guidebooks, sncf boutiques do not sell the mus pass.
For 95e in a central clean hotel with a decent room-this is a great value.
