My stay Secret de Paris was fantastic, we went for a weekend in November and the hotel lived up to all my expectations. Beautiful room, great decor, wonderful breakfast and lovely staff. We stayed in the Trocadero Room which was of excellent quality only issue was the glass doors to the bathroom they did not close properly and if you were laying on the bed you could see your partner on the loo (not romantic) other than that fantastic room. Great amenities, fantastic location - you could walk to major sites the opera house, the louvre etc all within walking distance or you could use the metro to get round which is 2 minutes away. Do use the spa we used one evening and it was really good, the staff set it all up for you and is just adds to the relaxation. Fantastic hotel, will return.

We stayed in room 46, one of the opera rooms. We had a view out over the street from the bedroom but because we were on the 4th floor, we were not at all bothered by any street noise. The location was great, only a short walk to the nearest metro station meaning the whole of Paris was accessible!

Our room was spotless, very well decorated with a unique theme, the bathroom was beautifully done and very luxurious with a spa bath big enough for two and a rain shower. One small issue was maybe that the shower screen did not protect the floor well but really only a minor point seeing as the room and bathroom was cleaned spotlessly each day!

The service was first class by all staff, they spoke fluent English and easily tolerated our attempts at French! They assisted us with local enquiries and checking a restaurant booking for us. Every conversation was friendly, easy and professionally polite.

We ate one breakfast in our room and although fairly pricey was well worth it due to the quantity and choice. Other reviewers have made comments about the lack of tea/coffee facilities in the room but it can be ordered and there are plenty of Starbucks round the corner!

All in all a perfect hotel and perfect holiday!!

Our stay at the Secret de Paris coincided with a period of severe weather affecting most of Europe. We needed to spend time checking which airports were operating and which flights had been cancelled and the staff were brilliant at helping us to find out what was going on with the transport situation. They were equally good at providing information about local transport, as well as warming coffees on our arrival.

If you want to understand why this hotel ranks so highly with TA reviewers it is simply because of the very professional, yet friendly, way the staff carry out their duties.

The location, close to several Metro stations, makes getting around the city very easy and the rooms are comfortable, though ours was a little on the small side. There was complimentary orange juice and water in the mini-bar, and they will stock it with whatever you need. We didn’t really like the glass doors between bed and bathrooms, which meant that nocturnal visits became communal activities.

The breakfasts were excellent with fresh orange juice, bread and croissants as well as a selection of ham, smoked salmon and cheeses. Eggs can be cooked to order in whichever style you like.

Would we go back? Of course, especially as there are some great deals to be had through the booking agencies.

The service was great! The people here are great and they treath you very good! We loved it and we are coming back the next time !
