I booked this trip for my Mum & Dad who were travelling to Paris for the Prix De L'arc De Triomphe races,& only read the reviews after i booked it. I never told them about the unfavourable reviews this hotel had got as I didnt want to spoil it for them.They returned home today with glowing reports about this hotel. It was spotlessly clean with the sheets & towels changed every day & fresh fruit & water every day placed in your room & they are very fussy about cleanliness,it was also central to everything. So i can only say they will be back in Paris & would stay nowhere else for value & cleanliness.

I wish I had read the reviews for this hotel before I decided to enter the depths of HELL! This was appalling from start to finish - Isma, the wickedly horrible receptionist, who didn't care about the guests, continued to ignore my requests to change our room from the hair filled duvet blanket, to mould, dry rot and mildew on the walls and ceiling, layers of dust and filth around the room, no internet, no AC, no international adaptor, no shower head holder, no shower curtain, no toilet roll, AND, no answer on the telephone when calling the receptionist! The manager, Abdul was incredibly unpleasant and uncomprimising and made it clear I would have to put up with this nightmare or leave. The lift was tiny and smelt terrible and was decorated with laminated flooring all over - it also stopped working (probably to save on electricity or punish the guests more) after 9pm. AND, I was rationed to two croissants from their woeful three choice breakfast menu!
THE most unredeemable HOTEL I have ever had the misfortune of staying at and MUST be AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS!!!!

I stayed at the hotel for a business trip with a colleague. Sharing a twin room. We were expecting a really dirty room, having read some of the nightmare reviews. But we were pleasantly surprised to find after a tiring day, a clean room that smelt nice. The hotel was easy to find, about 10 mins walk from the station. There are many cafes located near the hotel, but the price were not that cheap. (about 20 euros for a meal and drink).

I would stay at the hotel again. Its good value for money and you get for what you pay for really. The only thing I would say that was not good was the shower not that powerful and I could hear people outside the hotel talking really loudly into the early hours of the morning.

Where to even begin....
Mabye I jshould start with my bruised ribs from the springs sticking straight up into my stomach all night from the awful, most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on. Even worse, the lack of sleep due to the hotel receptionist yelling for all hours of the night leaving my friend and I with minimal hours of sleep. The toilet seat was broken, the TV wouldn't work, and to top it off the power would completely shut off every 30min. The continental breakfast included a few coffee beans and a few croissants if you're lucky to get there early enough to get one. The smell of the hotel was also extremely unpleasant. The hotel really gives the impression that it is OK to treat guests as less objects rather than human beings by providing broken ammentities and being extremely rude.

Paris is an absolute jewel and I have not one thing to complain about the city, but please do yourself a favour and enjoy your trip by staying far far far away from this awful, horrifying hotel.
