We stayed here for one night in Paris since it was close to the train station, and we wanted one room for two adults and two kids. We were coming from Provence and had one night in Paris before flying back to states the next day.
I just looked at the hotel photos again, and it showed our room. It sure looks better in the photos than in person. Super tiny; could hardly get around double bed. On top floor, so two skylights, but no windows to open or look out of. Very hot, and couldn't figure out AC. When we asked at front desk, man came up to turn it on with a remote that he took back with him. Bathroom newer, but shower so tiny that cloth shower curtain is always sticking to your body which is most unpleasant. (especially considering all the other people it has stuck to.) Baseboard pulled off in corner showing wires. Dirty, dingy carpet.
We had spent a week earlier in the trip in a gorgeous two bedroom apt. in Invalides neighborhood, so we were bound to be disappointed in anything else, but I did think a three star hotel would be nicer. Neighborhood a little dicey, but to be expected so close to the train station. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here during a longer stay.
