We really struggled to find a hotel with great reviews and great location in Paris until we came across this little gem. The service at the Hotel was wonderful, the receptionists were extremely welcoming, polite and helpful. The room was extremely clean and the bed very comfy. We were very impressed with the bathroom amenities and the shower. Many reviews say the rooms are quite small, but for Paris we thought it was a good size and both of us had plenty of room and storage space. There was a coffee machine in the room with Nespresso capsules which was a great touch, also a flat screen TV and Ipod Dock. Breakfast was continental and there was a great selection of pastries, cheeses, meats, yoghurts, teas and coffees. We had a problem with our air conditioning on Sunday but as the street was relatively quiet we opened the window, we asked the receptionist and as it was a Sunday he couldn't get anyone until the following day, when we came in on Monday the problem was fixed! Efficient service. The hotel is on the same street as the 'Relais de Venise', it is a restaurant next door to the right. It is famous for its steak, as that is all it serves, and it has a unique steak sauce, every night there was a queue from open to close; when we tried it we realised why - the steak is wonderful! Also around the corner towards the metro you will see a oyster/lobster stall on the outside of the building, that is for the restaurant behind - again - wonderful food and the oysters were extremely tasty; freshly caught. The hotel is in a great location, minutes walk to Champs D'Elysee and right next to the metro and taxi stand. We had a great stay at the L'Adresse and plan to stay their again!
