We stayed at le Fabe for 3 nights at the beginning of February. Booked on the basis of Trip Advisor recommendation, reasonable prices and the modern look of the hotel. We were not disappointed. Really friendly staff, modern and clean. Good location - nice area, close to metro stop although we walked to more central areas like st germain on a couple of occasions. To summarise great hotel and would recommend.

Booked this hotel with high expectations and it delivered on every level. Recieved a free upgrade on arrival, great location in a 'real' part of Paris with staff that cannot help enough.

Great breakfast and good recommendations for local restaurants. We're planning to go back to Paris in the Summer and wouldn't stay anywhere else. If your thinking about booking this hotel don't, just do it you won't be disappointed.

All previous reviews of this Hotel describe the location and surrounding area accurately. Felt a safe neighborhood at night. Very good standard of Hotel and room size. The reception staff are a credit to the Hotel and can be relied on to offer helpful advice. Breakfast decent, typical continental style although there are also plenty of cafes in the area.

There are 3 sizes of room in this Hotel, I stayed in the middle size. Apparently the bed in the larger room is the same size as the medium room, there is just more space in the larger room obviously - I would suggest the medium size room offers the best value for money. The smallest room has a smaller bed and obviously space is tight.

One last thing, as you can see from the website the rooms are themed with a large picture behind the bed. The idea of the featured Mona Lisa room may appeal as it certainly looks the part but before making any special requests you should know that it's right beside the lift on the 3rd floor. It might be fine and guests may not even notice but im a very light sleeper and despite other guests best efforts I get the feeling I would have been woken by the traffic coming and going early in the morning. Mind you there are only 5 rooms on the 3rd floor so any disruption would be minimal.

That should not be taken as a negative as overall this is a great hotel which can be difficult to find in Paris for this kind of money.

We spent two nights here in February 2012 and were very happy with the experience. This part of the 14th is extremely trendy now with lots of great restaurants, cheese shops, bakeries and like just a block or two in any direction. The metro is a short 2-3 minute walk away and all tourist locations in central Paris are no more than 15 minutes away by metro. The famous flea market at the Porte de Vanves is just two metro stops south as well. The hotel is particularly convenient if flying into Orly, as it took just 30 minutes by train or 20 in a cab to get to and from the airport.

The room we had (Lotus) was large by Paris standards and the bathroom was well fitted out. The service was excellent at the front desk, very helpful. For 300 euros for a two-night Friday/Saturday stay in central Paris - booked at the last minute - I found this to be great value. I would stay at this hotel again.
