This is a wonderful hotel to stay in while you’re in Bastia. It’s very clean and a reasonable price. The rooms are quiet, especially compared to those that are closer to the port. Yet this is only seven minutes’ walk to the train station, and 15 minutes walk to the oceanfront and Corsica ferry terminal. The all-you-can-eat breakfast is worth a lot. It includes an assortment of breads and croissants, fruit, eggs, ham, cheese, yogurt, and drinks. An extra bonus is the wonderful front-desk staff. The five different women helping us spoke perfect English, and made an exceptional effort to even help us with our travel plans, for example; calling the airline, rental car companies, checking bus and ferry schedules for our onward journey, reserving a room in a small town. Book online and you save a little money. And when you’re in Corsica, hike some of their incredible trails. The mountains are spectacular, even just 30 minutes' drive outside Bastia. We used Bastia as a base for launching our trek of the GR20. This hotel held extra caches of food and luggage for us for free.

Hotel chosen for its central position near the ferry terminal. Efficient reception, able to park under the hotel before registration. Polite and helpful staff. Compact bedroom but with all we needed. Hotel restaurant served hot snacks. Comfortable beds and timely alarm call for early ferry.

Our ferry from Nice didn't arrive until 11pm so it was quite a long walk uphill to get to the hotel. If you are coming in late at night this may not be the best place to stay.

Once we checked in everything was great - the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable with access to Wifi. The bathroom was also very clean.

Breakfast was fantastic and the best we have had. Plenty of choice. We found the staff to be extremely
helpful and very friendly. We selected this hotel based on other travellers' reviews and we were very happy. The only downside was the long walk uphill from the ferry. Aside from this we would definitely recommend this hotel as it was good value for money.

Nice hotel, clean , friendly staff, nice rooms, good price but a little far from centre. Too long to walk from station on hot days. But cheap taxis are around.
