I've been many times in Ajaccio in summer to enjoy the beaches around the city. Since I discovered this hotel I always came back here. Until the 14th of july the price is very good, while afterwards it's high season in Corsica and you will have to pay more. If you travel by car, alone or in couple, you'll love to stay here. We could sleep how much we need, no one bothered us in this business style hotel with carpeted floors. The rooms may be small but very modern, confortable and well equipped. The beautiful beach of Porticcio is 15 minutes far by car. And when we didn't go to the city centre in the evening (the restaurants are very expensive and fresh fish it's not easy to find) we bought some take away food and we ate on the beautiful terrace on the top floor with the view on the harbour. Since 2011 the internet wireless connection is for free into the rooms and in the common areas, what we found a great advantage! the only flaw could be the location: the hotel is placed on a fast flowing road without any charme and to reach the historical centre it takes 15 minutes on foot. But on the other side, we never had problems parking on the street for free, what made our staying cheaper. And next door there is a very good bakery where we bought delicious "pan bagnat"!

The room was very small. Double bed very narrow. No fridge. Minimal storage space. The private garage was "full", and it was difficult to find street parking. It was very expensive for what they offer.

We stayed in this hotel for one night at the beginning of October. It is about twenty minutes by walking from the old town. Driving and parking in this town are an absolute nightmare; so we decided to pay more to use the hotel parking lot. The room was quite large and very well appointed. It even had a nice table in one corner. The bathroom was very clean and well appointed. After walking to town we were very happy to have chosen this hotel out of the chaos of the roads of Ajaccio. Right next door is a bakery from where we bought our breakfast (the hotel charges the usual usurious rates for breakfast that are charged in France).

We would recommend this hotel for its location, its price comparable to other three star hotels and its cleanliness. And we do suggest you use the car park as parking costs just as much in town; the streets are plugged with cars almost all of the time and the one-way streets are very confusing to navigate.
