A rather tired railway hotel which has seen better days. The rooms are not particularly cheap at €60-€80 for a double with bathroom and breakfast is an additional €8. Breakfast itself was appalling with bitter perculated coffee from a leaking urn and rather chewy croissants.
The hotel is part of a large block which incorporates a couple of reasonable looking restaurants, but watch out for the disco. We were disturbed by about 30 noisy punters being kicked out at around 4 am Sunday morning, some of whom proceeded to have a fight. The police were quite useless and we were worried about our car which was parked in the hotel bay. I suspect this is a regular weekend occurrance.
Quite honestly, the whole thing needs pulling down and in the meantime you'd find better value at the local Ibis. I will also be writing to the hotel about this when I have found their website.
