We stopped here for one night on the way back to England from Provence. The tip about the bollards is really useful - peep your horn outside the hotel and they will be lowered so you can take in your luggage and obtain directions to the car park (we were lucky that the bay was empty, but every time we returned on foot it was occupied, and the one-way loop is quite a distance once you are in it). Whilst the directions to the off site car park seem straightforward, we took a wrong turn and had to go right around the city centre to get back into the one-way system - second time around I put the street name into the satnav and recommend you do the same, especially if you do not have a passenger to help you navigate! Car park is secure with PIN code entry and only a couple of hundred yards from hotel (on foot).
Check-in was good, with very helpful receptionist who spoke good English if required.

We did not eat in the hotel as it was quite pricey (breakfast 14€) but Troyes is full of eateries of all varieties and prices.
The hotel is centrally located, adjacent to the main square (which was being completely renovated whilst we were there), and situated just about midway between the old town and the Cathedral/Musee d'Art Moderne.
All in all an excellent hotel either for an overnight stay or a short break.
Room Tip: Rooms at the back are quieter, though have no view. Lift goes only to second floor, so avoid third f...
