trust the gallery on the website: it's all real and the maison is wonderful. on top of this we really appreciated the lady of the house: always available and taking care of the smallest detail, from the fruit salad when you start breakfast (an extraordinary surprise) up to the qualified suggestions about destinations to be visited. the small library available for guests proved to be interesting and very useful. the last surprise: the deers that at sunset graze with horses in front of the house. binoculars available: magic!

We found a very comfortable and affordable Chambres d’Hotes at the end of this years trip.
If you want a relaxing place to stay within driving distance from the Charles de Gaulle Airport. We can highly recommend “L’Ermitage” [--] This is in a small town called Pierrefonds. We were told about this place from a Ex-Pat that had been in the country for some time.
It was the nicest B+B we had stayed in in the whole 5 weeks and the bonus of staying there was we had two of the more interesting Chateaus close by, Chateau Chantilly and Chateau De Pierrefonds.
