This is a functional, clean, average chain hotel. The only issue is it is overpriced for what it is. We didn't mind staying here on a quick overnight stay, but, for what you get, it is expensive. The restaurant especially is overpriced, but there is not much else around, so what can you do. Not for special occasions, but fine stop on your way elsewhere.

We have stayed in other mercure hotels , but his was terrible .The only positive is the friendly staff and the the excellent wine on offer . The room was extremely tired and the restaurant buffet was awful .There was no al a carte menu on offer . We would have expected mor from mercure .there are far better hotels in Reims .

The *only* complaint I had about this hotel was that the restaurant closed at "normal" business time. Since this hotel is in a business park, on the far side of town, I made the mistake of assuming that their restaurant would have extended hours to accommodate late arrivals. Nope. We got there at 9, and there was no food to be had without driving back into town. The Bar was open, but didn't even have peanuts, much less bar snacks.
BUT - the service was excellent, the room was clean, the price was right.

Excellent location for us, city-centre easily drivable + an excellent daytime bus service which unfortunately stopped at 8pm.
Restaraunt was good though menu a bit limited & repatative if staying more than 2 nights. Buffet style breakfast was extremely good value.
