We have stayed in other mercure hotels , but his was terrible .The only positive is the friendly staff and the the excellent wine on offer . The room was extremely tired and the restaurant buffet was awful .There was no al a carte menu on offer . We would have expected mor from mercure .there are far better hotels in Reims .

“Eat before you arrive”
The *only* complaint I had about this hotel was that the restaurant closed at "normal" business time. Since this hotel is in a business park, on the far side of town, I made the mistake of assuming that their restaurant would have extended hours to accommodate late arrivals. Nope. We got there at 9, and there was no food to be had without driving back into town. The Bar was open, but didn't even have peanuts, much less bar snacks.
BUT - the service was excellent, the room was clean, the price was right.

“Mercure-Reims”
Excellent location for us, city-centre easily drivable + an excellent daytime bus service which unfortunately stopped at 8pm.
Restaraunt was good though menu a bit limited & repatative if staying more than 2 nights. Buffet style breakfast was extremely good value.

“A Pleasant Stay”
A very clean and modern hotel with modern feel.
Pleasant staff and very obliging. Would not hesitate to stay again.

“good service, friendly staff, average restaurant”
The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. You have to take a car or taxi to go to the town center (or walk about 1 hour 30 minutes)
