CONS - We've traveled extensively in Europe and this is the smallest hotel room we've ever stayed in!!! There was neither any room on the sides of the bed to step around it (we had to climb in from the foot) nor any room to open a bathroom door (thus, they've installed a vinyl folding door)!!! There was no elevator nor any help getting bags up / down. We asked for ice but got none. And when we went down to the desk about 7PM to get ice, they were gone until the next morning!!!

PROS - The staff (when there) were friendly and helpful, the French breakfast was decent and affordable, the outside of the hotel and the also very small common areas of the hotel were quaint. It was also very affordable.

The rooms on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors are v small with tiny bathrooms. If you can, ask for a room on the 4th (top) floor where they are larger and some have good views over the city.

This is a modestly-priced hotel within three minutes walking distance of the cathedral . . for those points alone it has to be high on the list of the happy traveller. It has a bonus that the lady who runs it is vey kind and helpful.

OK . . . the staires are, indeed, steep and others have writtem of the mini size of the rooms and the mini-mini shower/toilet faciliites . . but if you want a clean and friendly place to stay in the heart of one of France's great cities this one has my vote every time.

Great location, very well priced. Friendly staff. Rooms are small but charming.

You get what you pay for. We stayed here for 4 nights so we could explore the region of champagne. The owner was very pleasant and breakfast, consisting of a crossant, bread, really good hot chocolate or coffee and jams was lovely. But the room number 11 was so small you couldn't swing a cat in. Plus the bathroom was also tiny. A bigger person would definitely struggle to get into the shower. If you dont mind a small room then stay here as its full of character.
