American reviewers: let's agree that most of the rooms in European hotels are small. We're so spoiled in the U.S. with our character-less Hyatts & Holiday Inns. Everything is smaller is Europe, so let's move on.
Now, for this hotel, the rooms are tiny, granted. But if you're in your room most of the time, you're missing out on the great town of Reims. Lean out your window to see the magnificent cathedral. Ask the staff for tips on the best Champagne bars. Their English isn't bad & they let you know they won't be there overnight when they give you the key.
When we finally did crash for the night, the beds were very comfortable. The owner told us they're new - part of an upgrade they did in Nov. 2011.
Overall, great value! We paid 69 euro for a triple room.
