We spent one night there and were lucky enough to find a parking spot right next to it.

Our room at the last floor was recently renovated, and even if it was small it was well arranger, with 2 windows (one with a view on the cathedral). Very clean, modern LCD tv and bathroom. The only con is that after the first impression you'll notice that the room is unpolished (missing paint on a few spots), that's a detail.

The stairs are covered by a greenish carpet which doesn't do them justice. The breakfast was OK with plenty of bread and a croissant, orange juice, coffee. you however have to take it in a tiny room, so forget private discussions, especially when you got loud speaking French Canadians in the room.

Wifi works perfectly well and is free, that's rare enough to be reported.

We paid 70€ for the night, which is too much in my opinion, but well, it was still the cheapest decent option for the period.

We were on the top floor and there was no lift so I would recommend requesting a lower floor level if you have kids or difficulties walking. The room was small but Reims is so lovely we didn't spend much time in the room. It was very clean and perfectly central so good value over all. The biggest down side was the noise. Even with the window closed it was very noisy at night (and we aren't light sleepers) so take ear plugs!

My wife and I stayed here unexpectedly - we had planned to go on to Épernay but had temporary car problems. The hotel is well-located, and service was efficient: but our room was tiny, with barely enough room to move and a minuscule bathroom. The carpets in the common areas are grubby and worn and much of the (in places, garish orange) paintwork is scuffed. There is no lift and the stairs are steep. Breakfast was adequate but overall we felt this was not somewhere to recommend.

Hotel de la Cathédrale is a very nice, old hotel. A great value for the accommodations. It was within walking distance of the Notre Dame Cathédrale Reims. Also within walking distance of dining and shopping. The hotel affers paid parking either in a garage or their is paid parking available on the street.
