Having read some previous reports about this hotel I was a bit worried as to how clean it would be and how difficult to prk the car. I need not have worried.
We were greeted at the door and had no difficulty parking my large car, but remember to swing out to the left hand side of the road before turning right into the garage as it is tight.
The whole hotel was spotless and perfectly adequate for a stop-over.
We ate dinner in the restaurant and had the breakfast, both adequate.
It is situated in the town centre so there is somewhere to walk about as the hotel does not have any outside area in which to relax.

This is a really noisy hotel on a main street with loads of traffic and people talking and shouting pretty much throughout the night. When the people have gone the bin men came at 4 30. This isn't really the hotel's fault but makes staying here terrible. If you have to stay here ask for a room at the back of the hotel, apparently they're quieter - the staff know there's a problem! Also, you have to remember to ask for a non smoking room unless you want a room that smells like an ashtray. Paper thin walls keep you informed of your neighbours activities too! There are better places to stay

Stayed for one night on the way down to the South. We had a suite which had a twin bedded room a sitting room with a double sofa bed and a bathroom and toilet. It was really clean and comfortable and ideal for a stop over.
Breakfast was a simple, well presented buffet.
Staff were really helpful and friendly.

One of the first times I am happy to report that the Hotel website
was accurate! we got what they offered and were not disappointed. Located conveniently in the center of town with parking which needed some organization by the hotel
clerk as its tandem. We booked online but prior to leaving
received a call from the hotel to say they would be closed from
noon to 5pm Sunday (bit unusual) but they gave us the door code. When we arrived at 4pm they were there, but had taken the precaution of leaving our room key just in case!. The room was a good size and spotless, 2 chairs! a small table and mini bar with basic drinks. Bathroom was a reasonable size with a separate w.c. We overlooked the street but rolled the shutters down at night and had no problem with noise. Great value and
a good overnight stop. One note to bear in mind the restaurant is
closed on Sunday night as were several of the town restaurants.
