Seriously, after the tiny, battered boxes that pass for budget hotel rooms in Paris, this place was paradise. For a little over 80 euros a night, we got a large twin room with private bath and central air conditioning. The bathroom was spacious, sleek, clean, and actually had a bathtub! I never heard noise from the neighbors or the adjacent street. The location was convenient to the train station, tourist office, and many restaurants. All of the receptionists (but especially the fellow in the evenings) were incredibly pleasant and helpful. You could be picked up at the hotel for chateau tours. If I were to complain about anything, it would be the old-fashioned door locks (you had to use your key to lock the door when you were inside and when you went out), but this is nothing compared to the positives. I would definitely come back!
By the way, when you exit the front doors of the train station, make an immediate right, cross Rue Edouard Vaillant, go straight on rue du Rempart for 100 yds or so, and make the first right. That should bring you to the hotel. Like others, I got lost trying to find it the first time.
