Having stayed in Orleans for 2 days on our way to south of France we stopped in Orleans. Excellent hotel great rooms with a perfect location for sight seeing. Car parking is under the hotel and a great price. When travelling to the south of France again I will always stop in this hotel.

We stayed for one night and the guy at reception was very accommodating and friendly. The room and hotel were very clean. We were able to park our car under the hotel which the access to was a bit tricky but worth the effort to know your car was secure. We made a bee line to this hotel as it is recommended in the Lonely Planet travel guide. The reception provides tourist info and walking guides for Orleans. We weren't able to much sight seeing but this would be a good base as the old city and sights are all within easy walking distance.

The hotel is exceptionally well situated with a 15-20 minute walk to city center, and tourist attractions. The room was modern, with modern amenities. The breakfast was excellent. Very helpful staff. Internet access easy. Parking in garage under the hotel- need the attendant for access.

We looked at a cheaper hotel first but are glad we paid a bit more for this one. The service was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was well located for the centre of town and restaurant quarter. Rooms were average, no tea or coffee, view of a side street and a bit noisy with the window open (hot day). Good for an overnight stop on way to South of France, but probably wouldn't stay for a week. Breakfast looked expensive so we ate at the chaep hotel round the corner! Son left glasses in his room, hotel very helpful in looking for them.
