We stayed in the 'annexe' part of the hotel overlooking the terrace. Nothing special about the room just typical french basic accommodation, comfortable bed. Good value though at 83 euros including breakfast. We chose the 'Gastronomique' option for dinner and were blown away with the exceptional quality of food and service. Heston Blumenthal would have applauded the efforts of the chef, Grilled lamb cooked over volcanic larva rocks and served with flaming vine twigs, an ostrich steak barbecued in what appeared to be a spaceship at our table and amazing amuses-bouches and desserts produced with the aid of liquid nitrogen. It took time but was definitely worth waiting for!

A pleasant Logis with helpful friendly staff. Our room overlooked the terrace, where we ate in the evening. We had a bath and separate WC.

Dinner was excellent and breakfast good too. We could even have had eggs cooked to our liking, a rarity for France.

We had a room in an annexe, with flowery wallpaper covering the room; typical old-style French small hotel. The bed was two linked singles and was very comfortable.
The half board option was startlingly small and basic, with little choice. Starters were either melon and ham or crudites and the main course was stuffed tomatoes. When we looked unimpressed by the tomatoes, we were offered galettes. The dessert was creme caramel or we could have cheese,. We chose cheese and the Brie was past it's best, tasting mildly of ammonia, but the bread was excellent. The wine was expensive, the cheapest was 20 euros, but it was good.
Breakfast was an average buffet, not much fresh fruit, but the pastries were very very good.

Hi we used this hotel on route back to the UK from Spain super small logis staff very friendly and spoke good English food excellent and nice bedroom about 15 minuets drive from the centre of Orleans.
