Having driven into Orleans, even with the aide of a map, it took us 90 mins to locate the hotel. There are lots of one way streets and a massive amount of roadworkks at present (Aug 2010). Parking is an issue, as there is no allotted parking apart from street / off street car parking (free 7pm-9am). Staff in hotel are very friendly and can converse in English. Rooms are clean, with comfortable bed, but if you want a decent nights sleep, bring your own pillows. Nowhere locally for breakfast, so the offer of bandb is worth taking at 7Euro per head. Location within the city is good - near to velo/ bike scheme near old part of city. Try to eat at Le petite folie - great food about 10mins from hotel (mains around 13-15). We stayed one night, but two would be better for a look at city sights. All in all a good stay, but good luck finding it!
