I stayed here with my family for one night en route to Calais. We had a top floor (4th) family room with a double bed and two single beds. The bathroom was clean and functional. The room was clean. Our window overlooked some sort of courtyard but stretching our neck we could see the beautiful towers of the cathedral. We did not have breakfast in the hotel (extra charge) but those that were there seemed pretty pleased with the quality. The hotel is off a quiet square with a brasserie, a mini supermarket, a burger joint and an hairdresser. On the 4th floor it was quiet enough both at night and during the day, even with the window open. There is a lift. Parking is a bit of a nightmare, particularly with a trailer and bikes on the roof! However, there is parking on the square (free from 7pm until 9am). Alternatively there is a multistorey car park just around the corner. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the pedestrianised streets of Orleans with its restaurants, bars and shop and is therefore extremely convenient. A good base to stop over for a night or two.

Very near the old town and all the sights so the location is the real reason for booking this hotel. Triple room (with a child) was spacious but very tired - bathroom especially poor - leaking shower, grubby grout etc. Double room was "upgraded" from an economy but still very basic and tiny. Breakfast 7 euros - usual French rip off - half a baguette, a croissant and some sachets of jam. All staff English speaking and friendly enough. No car park but public pay and display just opposite is free after 7pm. Genuine free WIFI though! Great meal at Chez Noe in old town (you wont need to order a starter!)

Good location, but shabby place with very poor sound isolation

What we liked:
The central location, the quietness, the large room and bathroom, the cleanliness

What we liked a bit less:
The very small trickle of lukewarm water in the morning (and the cold water in the evening!), the not so helpful attitude of the receptionist
