I chose to stay here to break up a road trip to the South of France. I primarily chose the hotel because of the free parking. It was plentiful and my room looked out on to the car park so I could keep an eye on it. The hotel was easily found from Sat Nav and is located about 15 minutes’ walk from the main City Centre. Check in was fine but the male receptionist was a bit stroppy! He spoke good English though.
The room given to me was on the first floor. First impressions were a giant Paper Mache box! The room was dated but fine and reasonably clean. The bathroom was adequate but the sink was a leaking a bit. Not a major problem as I did not intend to hang around for long. The most bizarre thing about the hotel was the storage of an extra towel in the desk drawer. Very peculiar! Took me ages to find it...
I slept fine in the hotel - the sound proofing was not amazing but the guests around must have been very considerate!
I had breakfast too, at 9€, which i thought was included in the rate, but obviously not, so make sure you double check this first. The breakfast was plentiful, typical cheese and ham, maybe a little steep at 9€ but I didn't have the time to find somewhere else - I had driving to do!
All in all, the hotel was a little bit more than what I wanted to pay, due to the rather dated quality of the hotel. Don't stay here if you want luxury. If you want a car park and an easy no fuss night, you could do a lot worse. I’ll stay somewhere else next time, just to see somewhere different.

Fortunately we were only here for one night. The room was small, dark and poorly equipped; there was no remote control for the TV and not enough towels for two. The decor was grubby woodchip wallpaper and cheap, nasty furniture which would have disgraced a jumble sale.

Worst of all I had asked for a room which was suitable for a disabled person, this the room was not. The shower was over the bath, which meant I could not use it and I could not fit my mobility scooter through the door. When I complained the receptionist was rude and unhelpful.

The only positive thing about the hotel was that it is about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Orleans were there is a good selection of restaurants, the hotel does not serve meals. They do provide breakfast at an extra charge but after such a bad experience with the room we went elsewhere.

This location is very close to the highway to Paris and a 15 minute walk to the old town area which has many bars and restaurants.
The room was modern and clean. Free parking on site.
Good value for the price. Nice bathroom. Lots of hot water.

This was a basic hotel in a convenient location for a one night stop coming back from the south of France. The hotel was clean and comfortable with a secure , free car park. What makes this hotel is the staff, Coleen was the duty staff when we arrived and she went out of her way to be helpful, she even ordered us a take away pizza as it was too late to go out and eat. The breakfast is also good value.
