I put motorists in the title for the sake of train travelers. We stayed here for only one night as a stopover from the south on the way to Caen. This was our first experience at driving in France, so finding a hotel with its own parking lot was important to us.
We have no complaints about the hotel itself. The only negative comment I would make concerns the surroundings. There are no amenities nearby. It was Saturday night and my husband didn't want to drive to Old Town because he thought we wouldn't find parking. I myself was not feeling at all well and didn't feel like taking a long walk to find a place to eat. We ended up getting sandwiches at a gasoline station store.
I can't believe the comments that some reviewers have about the breakfast. We stayed at hotels where 9 euros provided much less than the breakfast here. Since there was no place nearby to walk for breakfast, we had the breakfast at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised. In addition to the usual coffee, juice, croissant and bread, they offered sliced deli meat, cheeses, yogurts, a variety of cereals, and bless them, hard-boiled eggs!
There is supposed to be a charge for parking after 9 a.m., but I don't know the amount because we left before then.
