Did a 2 night Loire Valley trip with a group of 5 people. We had three rooms and all were clean and quiet, although it was the off season and we may have been the only people in the hotel! Easy walk to downtown Blois which was a really great town with amazing food, despite the fact that we were there on a Sunday/Monday and many things were closed (note: plan ahead, all the shops looked cute but were closed when we were there!) Great value and the perfect spot to stay and do day trips to the many Loire Valley chateaus and vineyards. The only downside is that there isn't much very close to the hotel except for the train station; must walk a bit to even find a convenience store or patisserie. The internet was free but the signal was a bit iffy in some rooms.

The rooms are not so large but just enough to sleep over. Well located to reach the city centre in 5 minutes walking. next to the train station (important if you're coming by train). Good parking places free from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. The lady at the front desk was really really nice. Loved to chat and made us feel really wellcomed. The breakfast was excelent. The only negative point: no elevator!

My partner and I just spent 2 nights here with our daughter (4). We booked a quad room (29) which was on the 2nd floor overlooking the train station. The room itself was very clean and nicely decorated. The double glazing did an effective job of blocking out the street noise and the noise from the train station. The staff at the hotel are extremely friendly and offer a warm welcome.

The big downside to this hotel is that the room was extremely hot and didn't have any air conditioning, which meant that I didn't get any sleep on the first night. Opening the window to cool things down is not an option as the room overlooks a busy road and train station. On the first morning I discovered a fan in the room, which I used for the second night, but it was a very cheap and very noisy fan, so again sleep quality wasn't great.

Breakfast was nice, but at €6.50 per person, is very expensive and to my mind, not at all worth it as I could probably get a nice croissant and coffee just down the road for €2.

Also worth noting that this hotel is at the top of a steep hill if coming from the town centre, so probably not suitable for elderly people with walking difficulties and there is also no lift and only a spiral staircase to access the upper floors.

Next to railway station and about 15 mins walk to centre of Blois and Chateau ( all uphill on way back :-)) )
Bedrooms airy and well appointed ( no aircon though). Very clean and nice shower.
Breakfast was good value and front desk very helpful.
parking in street is easy but may be parking charges during weekday daytimes.
Excellent value, great location, nice people
