Amazing hotel.It´s a old house, a home far from home.It´s inside old town and 20 minutes walking from train station.Very quiet and confortable rooms and good size .Staff perfect, very friendly. It´s a old house with trees and flowers, a very relaxing place.Le Manoir is a boutique, charming hotel.This hotel make you want to stay more time in Amboise.It´s a place for feel peace.

BEST hotel I've ever stayed at. We were here for our honeymoon and it was perfect. From the outset, the staff is amazing. Their English is excellent, they’re very knowledgable, and supremely welcoming. From check in, all the way through to check out, the service from all staff was impeccable.

The whole building has it's own marked historical significance, having existed for centuries. It manages to retain all of it’s historical character and charm, with a perfect amount of modernity so as it give us all the comforts we could ever need without taking away the authenticity of experience we desire.

When visiting the chateaus, I looked at the chambers of the French nobility and could draw a comparison to my own room at Saint Thomas. So much so, that I spent an entire evening tucked away in my room and considered it an essential part of my travel experience, being that the room that was decorated so remarkedly Renaissance from the furniture, right to the open beam ceilings with the monogram of the rooms namesake, Catherine DeMedicus.

Breakfast was fabulous. Breads, pastries, cheeses, fruits, fresh squeezed juice, coffees, teas, cereals (The best muesli I’ve ever tasted!!)…high quality, and plentiful, with attentive service, in a charming dining area.

Elegance, cleanliness, spaciousness, the manoir has it all in spades, but most of all, it was warm and comfortable. I could not imagine needing or wanting anything more. I highly highly recommend this hotel.

Charming atmosphere. Helpful staff. Very large, and quiet room.

We spent only one night here but we wish we could have stayed for one more night.
