We had difficulty actually getting to the hotel as all of the roads around Dijon had been dug up to make way for a new tram route through the city. That aside we were made very welcome by the new owner, Sarl and shown to our room. The bed was comfortable and clean and there were opening window in both the bedroom and bathroom. We breakfasted in the hotel on our last morning and there was plenty to eat (French style continental ). This hotel is 5 minutes walk from the Gare and there are numerous eateries around although we walked into the old part of town to eat each night. Our stay here was great and never long enough. This is the worst hotel I have ever booked!!! We took one look at the rooms and left immediately. The carpets, bedding and whole room were dirty and very unpleasant. The rooms and hallway smelt of body odour and urine. We had travelled for 8 hours and this was not what we wanted to see or expected.

My wife, baby and I stayed for two nights on our way to the South of France. (as did a lot of guests). For this purpose it was perfect.
The staff was friendly, the room was clean en the location is perfect. The alley where you can park might look grimmy, but it's perfectly safe, as is the neighborhood.
A few minor flaws though: The baby bed we orderd was not in place. It was very busy when we checked in, but the receptionist brought us the babybed immediately, but we had to install it ourselves. I did not mind, but their was very little space to put it. Breakfast was ok (plenty but plain: coffee from a machine, prepackaged bread, ...). When we checked out they charged 8 breakfasts instead of 4, which was rectified immediately.
I would stay here again on passing through. Dijon is a nice daytripcity!

I am a travel agent travelling by myself on this occasion .I chose this hotel as it was really close to Gare Dijon. My room was very clean and modern. I liked the pulldown blackout blinds over the skylights.Breakfast was good and good choices.
The parking was difficult to find - I assumed it was underneath the hotel but it was down a side road. Parking was tight BUT at least there was parking. As a single woman travelling on her own I found walking out a night to find a restaurant a bit daunting so chose to eat at the pizza restaurant right next door,However there are many cafes in the immediate vicinity.The city is a very close walk- . As i had only the morning and afternoon before catching the trainti Paris to fly home , the manageress advised me to visit Les Halles which were wonderful and then the Palace of the Dukes, as well.The young man at Reception when I checked in at night was very helpful and as I had strained my he kindly lifted my rather large heavy suitcase up the stairs from the parking area for me.The owners/ managers were extremely helpful.I would stay here again.
