Rooms clean but very small and oppressive. Decor needs updating. Breakfast available at a supplement; service rather disorganized. I had my breakfast removed whilst eating it so that a paper place mat could be put onto the table. Parking also available at extra charge however spaces are very limited; reservation is a must.

Good location in central Dijon with some secure parking (additional charge). Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms disappointingly small, dingy and in need of refurbishment. Overal perfectly good and decent value considering the central location.

This hotel is mentioned in the Guide Michelin and indeed it is close to the centre of town and fairly reasonably priced. However, our room was very tired and in need of refurbishment. The weather was warm and the little airconditioner in the room struggled to make any difference to the heat. A pair of socks left by a previous resident was in the wardrobe. Parking was 7 Euro a night - extortionate, so we parked in the street and made sure we were away before 9am to avoid a ticket. Stay here for a night or two if you are touring the region but be aware the hotel has seen better days. As for Dijon, although the entry to the town is drab, there are many magnificent buildings to be found around every corner of the old town in recognition of its former wealth and imprortance.

I stayed in the Hotel Montigny for one night and found it to be very decent. The price was good (55 euro for a single room in high season), the location excellent (within a short walking distance from the centre of town) and the room clean and quiet.

There was no bath, but the shower had good water pressure and a nozzle that could be turned to give a needle shower. The tv had lots of channels, although none in English, the bed was firm and it had good blinds on the window to allow it to get properly dark.

Altogether I was very happy with my stay - it is not a luxury hotel, but really very decent value for money.
